The first in a new series of posts on my blog, I thought it might be interesting to invite my past clients to revisit their wedding photos and pick out a couple of favourites – one for her, and one for him. I always have my own favourites from each wedding – they are the ones that appear on this site… but which photos mean most to my clients? Russ surprised me with his choice of a detail shot below for example.

But anyway, over to Laura and Russ – a couple of their favourites from their fab homemade wedding in an abandoned church in rural Kent.

She Said

“I couldn’t have been happier, with my husband next to me, and my friends and family around me. Russ is carrying the candle light shared with the whole Church during our ‘service’. So many smiles that day.”

He Said

“It shows the level of micro detail that we put into the day. The Sylvanian family couple were borrowed from our nieces with customised black glasses made by Laura. They had to be rabbits, because we had four pet rabbits at the time. The cakes were handmade by Alison, Laura’s sister, and the ceramic cake plates hand-modelled by Laura’s mum, Jenny.”

They Said

“Loads of our wedding guest and extended networks have said that they’re the best wedding photos that they have ever seen. We continually get compliments about them – just this last weekend, eight months after our wedding, we received another! We couldn’t be happier with our photos, and Duncan was brilliant, and lovely company. He is now going to photograph another family wedding, too.”

Cheers Laura and Russ, see you in May!
