Pembroke Lodge Wedding – Stephanie and Bernie

It was a crisp and sunny Saturday for Steph and Bernie's autumn wedding at Pembroke Lodge in London's Richmond Park, which I was very pleased to see after a few Saturdays of less than ideal wedding weather. I started with Bernie and the boys for the last of their preparations and a quick good luck drink before heading to the girls at the Richmond Gate Hotel just outside the entrance to the park. ...

Sharon and Nick’s Altitude London Wedding

Sharon and Nick were both born in the UK but have lived for many years in Australia, so when it came to their wedding back in London they want to soak up some of the sights. I met them to catch the last of their preparations at the Zettler Townhouse before jumping in a black cab to do the tourist thing around some of London's most iconic landmarks. The weather was absolutely glorious and we had ...

London Wedding Photographer – Sophie and Jake

A garden wedding in the middle of London ... not something you come across very often.  My first in fact in ten years of shooting weddings.  Sopie and Jake were keen to hold the wedding at Sophie's parents house near Richmond Park and with some ingenious marquee construction they pulled it off.  Top work by Marquee Mark (I kid you not) meant their modest garden was completely enclosed to provide s ...

A wedding at The Lanesborough – Sarah and Greg’s Wedding

After battling through the London traffic last weekend I was at The Lanesborough Hotel for the wedding of Sarah and Greg.  Everything took place in this beautiful central London hotel, with a few trips outside dodging the showers for some photos in Hyde Park just over the road.  It was great to bump into previous clients Erica and Nik whose wedding I shot last year.

Tamara and Andrew’s London wedding at the ICA

My first wedding at 2011 was a return to the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. As Tamara and Andrew started their ceremony, we were treated to thunder and lightning and a torrential downpour. Luckily the rain stopped long enough for a street portrait in front of Admiralty Arch - Andrew had seen a shot from the last wedding I covered at the ICA and wanted to try a winter version of it.  ...

London Town Hall Hotel Wedding – Sophie and Umran

The next day I was in central London for Sophie and Umran's wedding at The Town Hall Hotel.  I think I have to give them the award this year for coolest ceremony room for a civil service.  The hotel has retained the old council chamber from the original town hall and it was a great setting to get married in surrounded by all their guests sitting in the councillors chairs. After the ceremony it ...

London Wedding Photography – Meera and Ben’s Wedding – Part 2

The second day of Meera and Ben's wedding was a civil ceremony followed by a reception at the Trafalgar Tavern overlooking the Thames in Greenwich. A big thank you to my partner Suzanne Fossey who came to shoot alongside me at the wedding, the shot of Ben seeing Me ...

London Wedding Photography – Meera and Ben’s Wedding – Part One

A two day wedding for me this weekend.  Meera and Ben had their Hindu ceremony on Saturday at the Manor House in Borehamwood, and the next day had a civil ceremony and reception in Greenwich. Part two to follow soon !
